Short version: these pages are static. They have no accounts of their own, run no advertising, and don't track you across other websites.
Counting visitors. Page views are counted two ways, both without cookies: Cloudflare Web Analytics on pages under andrewdhorowitz.com, and GoatCounter on the main site, where it also counts taps on buttons — copying a prompt, sharing the page, or opening the feedback form. They report counts and popular pages, not who you are.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own. Services you choose to use — Google for the form and translation — may set theirs on their own domains, under their own policies.
Feedback. The contact form is a Google Form. What you type goes to Google and to me. My personal email address is never published here; [email protected] is the public address.
Translation. If you switch languages, the page text is translated by Google Translate through the GTranslate widget, so the text passes through Google's translation service when you use it.
Routines & Streaks. The routines app is separate: it uses Google sign-in, and anything saved there is stored in Google's Firebase under the account that saved it.
Family pages. A few subdomains, like the family cards, are private family tools behind personal access links. They run no analytics at all.
Hosting and removal. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs. If you want a form response removed, email [email protected] and I will take it down.
Storage and retention. These pages store nothing themselves. The data named above lives with the services that hold it — form responses in Google Forms under my account, app data in Google Firebase under the account that saved it, and Cloudflare's standard server logs — and is kept only as long as it is useful. Wherever you live, including in the European Union, you can ask what of yours I hold and have it deleted: email [email protected].
Changes. If a page here adds a new outside service, this note is updated in the same change, and the date above moves.
